Subscriber Server

Sub. Link. Play.

Java & Bedrock · Terralith & Incendium

Subscribe to any Limitless creator on Twitch and you get whitelisted on the subscriber server automatically — no forms, no waiting on staff. It takes about thirty seconds, and it stays in sync on its own for as long as you're subscribed.

Getting on the whitelist

  1. Subscribe to any Limitless creator on Twitch

Any tier counts. Gifted subs and Prime subs count too. Not sure who to support? Browse the creators.

  2. Run /link-twitch in our Discord

Pick which account you join with, then enter your name. If you're not sure which to choose, see Java or Bedrock? below.

  3. Click the Twitch link the bot replies with

Only you can see that message. Signing in just proves the Twitch account is yours — you're not granting any permissions, and the link expires after 15 minutes.

  4. You're in

You're whitelisted the moment the page confirms it, and you get the Twitch Sub role in Discord.

The address is in Discord

We don't post the subscriber server address publicly, and when you first join our Discord you won't see it — the subscriber channels are hidden until you've linked.

The moment your link goes through, the bot gives you the Twitch Sub role automatically. That role unlocks the whole Subscriber section of the server. You don't have to ask anyone, and nobody has to approve you.

Start here

  • #subscriber-server-info — the Java address, and the Bedrock address and port. Everything you need to connect.
  • #sub-only-chat — ask your questions here. Stuck on anything, including anything on this page, this is the place.

Also unlocked

  • #sneak-peek, #subscriber-ideas and #suggestions
  • Sub Only VC, to hang out in voice
  • #subscriber-server-integration

Got the role but still can't see the channels? Discord sometimes lags behind — fully close and reopen the app, or refresh if you're in a browser. If Twitch Sub isn't showing on your profile at all, the link never finished: run /link-twitch again and follow it through to the confirmation page.

Java or Bedrock?

The bot asks which account you join the server with — not which game you own.

You'll need a Minecraft account you already own. This gets you onto the subscriber server — it isn't a copy of the game, and we can't provide accounts. Whichever option you pick below, enter the name of an account that's yours and that you already play on.

Java

Choose Java if…

  • You own Minecraft: Java Edition and play on PC
  • Or you play on console or mobile and have already linked that account to a Java account you own, through Geyser (see below)

Enter your own Java username, e.g. Steve

Bedrock

Choose Bedrock if…

  • You own Minecraft on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, mobile or Windows edition
  • And you have not linked it to a Java account through Geyser (see below)

Enter your own Xbox gamertag, e.g. SteveOnXbox

Linked your accounts? Choose Java. Once linked, you always join as your Java account — same name, same character — whichever device you're playing on. Choosing Bedrock would whitelist an account you never actually join with, and you'd be left outside.

Two extra things to know

Only applies if you chose Bedrock above. Java players can skip this.

  1. Try to join the server once, before you link

You'll be turned away with "You are not white-listed on this server". That's supposed to happen — and it's the whole point. That first attempt is what introduces your gamertag to the server, and until it's happened there's nothing for the whitelist to match you to.

You'll get the address once you have the Twitch Sub role, so do this right after linking if it's easier — just make sure you've tried at least once before you expect to get in.

  2. Type your gamertag exactly as Xbox shows it

Capital letters don't matter. Spaces are fine — we convert them for you. Don't add a dot at the front; that gets added automatically.

Why you'll see a dot in front of your name. In game you'll appear as .SteveOnXbox rather than SteveOnXbox. Every Bedrock player gets that dot. It's how the server keeps Bedrock and Java players apart — so if someone on Java happens to have the same name as your gamertag, you're still two separate players with two separate whitelist entries, and neither of you can be mistaken for the other.

Play one character on both editions

Already own both Java and Bedrock? Link them once through Geyser and you get a single character across both — same inventory, same base, same whitelist entry — whether you log in from PC or console. You'd then link to the Twitch bot once, as Java.

  1. Join the Geyser link server on both accounts

Address link.geysermc.org — Java port 25565, Bedrock port 19132. Get both signed in before you start.

  2. Type /linkaccount on either one

It doesn't matter which. You'll get back a random code.

  3. Type /linkaccount <code> on the other account

Enter the code on whichever account you didn't start on.

  4. Both accounts get kicked

With a message confirming the link. That kick means it worked.

Move your stuff first. Once linked you always use the Java account's inventory, position, ender chest and achievements — on every Geyser server, including ours. Anything sitting on your Bedrock character becomes unreachable. If you already have items or a base on Bedrock here, move them across before you link.

The link is global, so it carries to every Geyser server, not just ours. To undo it, join link.geysermc.org on either account and type /unlinkaccount. Full instructions at link.geysermc.org.

Once you're in

Commands

  • /status — what you're linked to, and which subs are counting
  • /unlink — give up access and unlink your account

If your sub lapses

  • Your access comes off on its own. Nothing to do, and nothing to sort out with staff
  • Resubscribe and it comes straight back — your link stays on file, so there's no need to set anything up again
  • Subscribed to more than one Limitless creator? You keep access until the last of them lapses
  • Only if you used /unlink do you start over with /link-twitch

What the messages mean

What you seeWhat it means
No active subscription found Either you're not subscribed to a Limitless creator, or that creator hasn't connected their channel yet. Ask staff which creators are connected.
That link expired The sign-in link lasts 15 minutes. Run /link-twitch again.
No Minecraft Java account named… Check the spelling. If you play on console, mobile or Windows edition and haven't linked to a Java account, choose Bedrock and use your gamertag.
Already linked to another Discord account That Minecraft or Twitch account is linked to someone else. Contact staff.
Whitelisted, but the server won't let you in Bedrock: make sure you have tried connecting at least once — that first attempt is what registers your gamertag. Linked accounts: you should have linked as Java, not Bedrock — ask staff to switch it.

Everything else

What actually happens when I run /link-twitch?

The bot replies with a message only you can see, containing a Twitch sign-in link. Clicking it opens Twitch's own website in a new tab. You sign in there, it sends you back to our site, and we read one thing: which Twitch account you are. We then check whether that account is subscribed to a Limitless creator, and if it is, your Minecraft name goes on the whitelist. The whole thing takes a few seconds.

Is that safe? Do you see my Twitch password?

No, and we couldn't. You type your password on Twitch's site, never ours — the same way "Sign in with Twitch" works anywhere else. Check the address bar says id.twitch.tv before you type anything; that's Twitch, not us.

We also ask for zero permissions. Twitch's screen will show no list of things we can do, because there isn't one — we can't post, read your chat, see your email or touch your account. All we get is "this is who signed in", and we throw that away immediately afterwards. Nothing is stored except your username.

Does it open a new window?

A new browser tab, yes — Twitch's sign-in page. If you're already signed into Twitch in that browser, you may not even have to type anything; just approve and you're sent back. On mobile the Twitch app may take over instead, which is fine.

"Linking" keeps meaning different things. What links to what?

Fair — there are two separate things, and you might only need the first:

1. Linking Twitch to Discord (/link-twitch) — required. This is what proves you're subscribed and puts you on the whitelist. Everyone does this.

2. Linking Java to Bedrock (through Geyser) — optional. Only if you own both editions and want one shared character across them. Nothing to do with Twitch or subscriptions.

Do I really have to sign into both accounts to link Java and Bedrock?

Yes — that step is only for people linking their two Minecraft editions together, and signing into both is how you prove you own both. You join link.geysermc.org on one, get a code, then join on the other and enter it. Nobody can link your account to theirs without being signed into yours.

If you only play one edition, skip it entirely.

I linked as Bedrock. Can I switch to Java later?

Yes, any time. Just run /link-twitch again and choose Java with your Java username. Your old entry is taken off the whitelist automatically and the new one added — you don't need to unlink first, and you don't need to ask staff.

This is what you'd do after linking your Java and Bedrock accounts through Geyser: re-link as Java, because that's the account you'll be joining as from then on.

Can I use a different Minecraft account than the one I linked?

Only one at a time. Run /link-twitch again with the new name and it replaces the old one. A single Minecraft account can't be linked by two different people, so if you're taking over an account someone else linked, staff will need to sort it out.

What if I change my Minecraft username?

Tell staff, or just run /link-twitch again with the new name. Your whitelist entry is tied to your account rather than the name, so you won't be locked out — but it keeps our records straight.

Does subscribing through the bot cost anything extra?

No. Your Twitch subscription is the only thing you're paying for, and it goes to the creator exactly as it normally would. This just reads whether it exists.

Can I unlink later?

Any time — run /unlink in Discord. That removes your whitelist entry and your link. You can always start again with /link-twitch.
